WOC Welcomes David Cumpston to Director Role

With more than two decades of experience in strategic communications, Cumpston is well-versed in all facets of technology and B2B public relations for prominent brands

SAN DIEGO; June 13, 2022 — (W)right On Communications continues to grow its team with the addition of long-time Bay Area PR counselor David Cumpston in the role of Director, B2B & Tech.

Cumpston will oversee the agency’s work for client partners such as XCOM Labs, a wireless communications disruptor advancing the next generation of wireless performance breakthroughs, and Nuvve, a global cleantech innovator intelligently integrating electric vehicles and fleets into the grid. He’ll also support the agency’s real estate development projects to bring more housing solutions to market in California and advance communications to help one of the world’s biggest private-sector employers recruit talent.

Cumpston brings more than 20 years of communication experience to (W)right On, most recently as Associate Vice President at one of the largest PR agencies in the country. Spending most of his career in the Bay Area, he has developed and managed strategic communications for numerous prominent brands including JP Morgan Chase, Aramark, SEGA, Horizon Organic, Sutter Health, UCSF Medical Center, Stanford Children’s Hospital, Orbitz, Best Western, Walmart and Velodyne Lidar.
