
The Opportunity:
Founded in 2017 in the U.K., Zenobē had grown its electric fleet, network infrastructure and second-life battery solutions in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. They had raised nearly $2.4 billion in funding, and in early 2024, Zenobē was ready to grow its business in North America. (W)right On Communications was retained to provide PR for electric fleet solutions and battery storage projects to build Zenobē’s U.S. reputation and support deal flow in the Americas.


The Solution:
Our team developed and executed on a robust communications strategy. It included traditional public and media relations, industry conference sponsorship and speaking opportunities, content marketing, thought leadership, materials development and more, all while working in close collaboration with Zenobē team members in the U.S. and Europe.
Our content strategy positioned Zenobē as a leader in electric fleet solutions through targeted storytelling. We developed white papers on EV battery management for school bus and public transit operators, supported by QR-coded collateral for trade shows. Monthly SEO-optimized blog posts and thought leadership placements reinforced Zenobē’s industry expertise. Media engagement efforts included a press release announcing the company’s North American expansion, securing introductory media meetings and publishing thought leadership content in key industry outlets.
To enhance visibility, we secured speaking engagements at major events like ACT Expo and Intersolar, facilitated onsite media briefings, and distributed white papers to target audiences. A messaging framework ensured consistency across all external communications, while social media campaigns amplified industry presence, event participation and media coverage. Additionally, we supported community engagement efforts for battery storage projects, strengthening relationships with NGOs and trade groups advocating for clean transportation and energy solutions.

The Results:
Our ongoing public relations and communications programming significantly increased awareness of Zenobē with target audiences, including customers, prospects and potential partners, including:
